Sorry!! New Jobs & fun Pictures

Sorry It has been FOREVER. I know I know some days I just don't feel like blogging ok ok the last month I just haven't felt like it. BUT.... New things are starting to happen an I thought you guys would like to know.

October:
First off October was fun I spent a few weeks in Arizona for Mandy's wedding. It was a ton of fun and she looked beautiful. ( can't wait to see the pictures) October ended with not much going on.

November:s
This time of year with the holidays and not being near family and having my parents gone is kind of hard to deal with so I sorta have closed myself off from people and things, I know it's not the best thing to do but it's how I deal with the pain. I had plans to spend Thanksgiving at home alone enjoying the peace and quite but had those plans canceled by my sweet roommate Lindsay who opened her home and family to me and invited me to spend the Holiday with them, I wasn't the happiest of campers to not be sleeping ALL DAY, but... I am so glad I went. They all made me feel so welcomed and loved. Thank you Boucher and Burton family!!

So Cindy took some very fun roommate photo's for us, we held up letters of our name an they came out so good. I have posted the final product and a few practice shots! Enjoy!!! I know I had a BLAST taking them!!

November, also saw a new adventures in my work life, my roommate Cindy and I started up our own Business!!! It is called Rockstar's Girlfriend Photobooth. We rent out portable photobooths for all sorts of events and parties. We are so excited about this and can't wait to have our first booking!! Hopefully we'll have a website up an running soon and we are hopeing to be a part of the 2010 Wedding Expo's in January!! Wish us LUCK and someday GOOD FORTUNE!!

Last Saturday my friend Nate and I attended the BYU- UTAH rivalry game. It was so much fun and I am glad we could go. But after 4 hours of screaming and yelling the Cougars (BYU) came through and WON!!WOOHOO and I lost my voice which was not good cause I had to teach the Chastity lesson Sunday! I had a great time with this one. It was so much fun, I decided to hit the topic head on and not let it be awkward , seeing as my past involved breaking this law I had a little more insight on the importance of obeying this law. After class people told me this lesson was my best one by far. I guess that's what happens when you teach gospel principals with life lessons you get a better view at the real meaning behind the Lords many laws principles and commandments. I am grateful the Lord has aloud me to have the chance to teach and use my trails and my life as a way to help others know there is a way back no matter how far you have fallen.

I'll write again once things start to get more interesting in December... Stay tuned

Funtimes with fun Friends

On Thursday the boys and I met some friends at the Zoo. We saw the cute new baby elephant and other fun animals!! I love being able to take the boys out and about. We have been able to experience a few different activities, The Zoo, The Children Discovery Museum, The Dinosaur Park and a few little new parks around the neighborhood. I have also taken them to see some friends play at Pizza Factory and they just loved that. Here are some pictures of our different adventures!! I must say I have the BEST job EVER!!! I get paid to play ALL DAY LONG!!! What's not to love about that!!!

Back to Arizona for Mandy's WEDDING!!

Well time has flown by. I am back in Arizona for 10 days to help celebrate Mandy's wedding! I flew into town on Friday night October 9th and will be here until Monday morning of the 19th. The festivities began on Tuesday when Mandy went to the Temple to take out her endowments. What a wonderful experience it was. As I sat there I was taken back to when I took out my endowments almost 4 years ago. I am sooo glad I went when I did. Had I thought I knew better then the Lord, I would have missed the chance to have at least one parent sitting physically in the temple with me. My temple experience was one of great emotion for me. I hope I will always remember the wonderful beautiful spirit I felt that day in November. Back to Mandy's BIG DAY... We are having her Bachelorette Party Thursday night and then Friday we are meeting in the morning for Manicures and Pedicures!! ( My favorite part). Friday night is the rehearsal dinner and Renae and I have to each come up with a toast for the happy couple. Then SATURDAY is the BIG DAY!! Mandy and Lowell are getting sealed in the Mesa Temple that morning! I am so excited for her!

While I am over the moon happy for my best friend, I can't help but feel a little sad for myself. Yes I am going to pull out my little pity party. Why you ask?? Well because it's my blog and my place to vent and cry if I need to. In the recent week 4 other people I know have gotten engaged. I also still have 2 more wedding to attend after this one. With all this LOVE and wedding stuff around me it's only normal I feel a pinch of heartache. I would be lying to myself if I said I didn't . But I am slowly realizing I may need to just let go of this dream of ever having my day. The older I get the less and less chance I have of finding Mr. Right. This is a sad thing to accept but some times you just need to and move on with life. So after this hard wedding season passes I am going to do just that. I am going to put all my energy into working my jobs and focusing on my callings of teaching and the YSA program. Maybe those will distract me from dwelling on the things in my life that aren't coming. Sorry for the Pity me. But it's either here or staying pint up for a MAJOR explosion later.

Long time GONE!! Covering August & Septemebr...

Boys are napped house work is done now time to start some bloggin fun!!

Well August came and went with a bustle of activity. It started of with The Young Single Adult Summit the 7th-9th. Oh was that fun. I was honored to play dorm mom to about 20 Young Single Adults from Green river Wyoming. These kids were AWESOME and I had a great time hanging out an getting to know them. I was sad to see them head back home Sunday night after the fireside, but I know I will see them again. You see, since this little venture went so well I have been asked by the Area Seventy over the Green river Stake to help him implement a YSA program up there. I am so HAPPY for this amazing opportunity to serve the YSA's in Wyoming. After the summit finished and I sent my children back to WY I packed my suitcase and headed out to my SUNNY AZ!! It was only a quick 5 day trip but it was so needed. After AZ I returned home with just enough time to wash my clothing and pack again to go with my singles ward to Bear Lake. That was a fun trip and I am glad I went. I learned a whole bunch about the dynamics of my new ward and sadly I was not impressed. I learned that there is a core group pf girls and unless you have something they need they would rather not speak to you. The saddest part about this is, this group consist of the RS president and her friends. I have met a bunch of girls in the ward who feel left out. No worries though, if you know me at all you know the minute I heard this I took it to the Bishop. Well things are changing and hopefully the RS and come together as sisters of the gospel. August ended pretty quietly Thank goodness

On to September...
September started off great I thing I worked only a few days the first couple weeks. So I spent my off time staying up late and getting up early I know I know not a good idea Sadly this month has been a little slow not much to report... I finally tough the Marriage lesson in Sunday school. IT went really well and I was proud of the responses I received. The Lord truly inspired me on this one and the other lessons since. I can't remember if it was the month of August or September but I OFFICIALLY graduated from counselling! YAHOO!!! Angela my counselor was phenomenal in helping me deal with losing my mom and other horrible personal things that happened last year. I am so grateful for her amazing council and her friendship. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You and the lord truly helped save me.

Now that I have my own computer at home I promise to be better at this and to add more pictures of my life and time. Also I will add stories and pictures of my little buddies (the boys I nanny). Well I'm off to rest and clean the playroom!!

God be with you tell we blog again.

Firesides,Birthday wishes and Chocolate kisses!!

This has been a great life!! I rememeber this time last year I was ready to stop living, but now I am sooooo glad I am still around. My amazing friends helped to make this year a great one!!
Since I last blogged, I went to a few little towns in Wyoming ( Rock Springs, Green River) I passed by Lyman and blinked and missed it so next time I'll have to prop my eyes open ha ha. I spoke for a few minutes in the Rock Springs Singles Branch telling the YSA's about the Summit we have coming up this weekend. I invited them to come down and join us for this event. I also did a fireside in Green River and was able to sign up 20 YSA's !! With the group here it shall be a great event. The WY group myself and a few kids from my singles ward will be staying at the University of Utah dorms!! (finally I get to experience college life)

Well July ended rather quitely and August came in and brought the best day of the year with it!! MY PRINCESS DAY!! a.k.a My Birthday. It started out on Monday when my bosses gave me a great gift!! After that everything just got better and better. I was woken up a little before 4am with a text message from my BESTEST FRIEND (she's lucky I love her) when I finally rolled out of bed I went and had my hair done and then went shopping for a new BIRTHDAY PRINCESS GIRL outfit with my other BFF!! Thanks Kel for helping me look so freakin HOTT Tuesday night. That evening my roommate Shelem and I had about 40 friends gather at Olive Garden to help us celebrate our big day!! We had loads of fun. The waiter who served my table remembered me from the 3 last parties i've thrown there. After dinner we moved the party to our house where we ended the night with a Brandi inspired cake ( it looked like a baseball field)!! We took loads of pictures and had some fun dancing and chatting. It truly was an amazing day!! Now with my day over I get to focus on the Summit this weekend. After that I am off work and on to Arizona and Bear Lake next weekend and week!!

Thanks for all the wonderful gifts!!

Family,Friends, Dates and Gospel Lessons

Well the last few weeks have been a little crazy... Missunderstanding with friends, dealing with missing the parents, a sister in the hospital and being away from my family and having the really cute guy I soooo wanted to go out with cancel our date . All have equaled to a pretty ruff week.
Things did start to loook better. I worked everything out with the friends, went to the Temple to be near my parents and my Heavenly Father, and found a cuter date to go horseback riding with!!

I tought my 3rd GD lesson on missionary work. This was one of the hard ones I get to teach this year. I don't mean hard in doctrine ways but in I could relate to this lesson so well. I was able to tell my families conversion story to the class. I also shared a very moving Temple experience I get to have every so often and of course I bawled. The next hard GD lesson I will be teaching is lesson 31 and it is on Temple Marriage. But that is not until the last week of August.

On Saturday July 18th Michelle, Stevie D, Cindy, Jon B, Kelli, Todd M, Me and my friday night last minute date Christian all went to Shelleys Cabin and saddled horses and went for a ride. We made some lunch chatted and went on golf cart rides. Then sat and chatted before we all returned back to the Valley. I must say the trip up was a little adventures too. You see, I was so distracted by my company that I went on the wrong exit and we ended up taking a little detour to Heber on our way to Marion which is just pass Kamas. I did warn the couples in my car that every ride with me is an adventure :o) The funniest part about the whole date is some how mid way in the date Kelli and I switched guys every now and again... I think it had something to do with the fact that Kelli had fallin IN LOVE with my date from the first moment they met outside Shelleys house.

So I found out on Sunday night that I will be going to Wyoming to give a Fireside on the YOUNG SINGLE ADULT SUMMIT we have coming up on August 7th-9th. I am a little nervous about doing this but when you're on the Lords errand you replace Fear with Faith and all will be well. This is what I have learned from teaching.

OH I woud like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Mandy & Lowell for their recent engagement!! I am so happy for the two of them and her ring is as BEAUTIFUL as she is!! I can't wait to party it up at their reception on the 17th of October!!

God be with you till we meet again!!

I'll get better at this

Well sorry it's been awhile since my first post.

Since I last wrote I have taught two lessons in Sunday School one on the Word of Wisdom and the other was today and I was on Be Not Deceived, But Continue In Steadfastness ( apostasy). As usual between my preparations and more help then deserved from the Lord I ROCKED both lessons. To be completely honest I LOVE my calling!! I must admit teaching Gospel Doctrines is such a ME calling. I found out today I will be teaching evcry 2 weeks... AHH I am not sure I can do that. As for other things in my life I have been at my wonderful nanny job for 6 months and I still love it. The family I work for is amazing. The parents are so awesome and very sweet. They boys are so darling. I find I miss them when I am off on the weekends.

The weekend of the 19Th I had so much fun volunteering at the Wasatch Back (Ragnar Relay) I helped at exchange 17 by calling out the numbers of the runners coming in and checked in the next runners. I met some nice people who have spent countless hours and some years just to run this race. I also helped out Saturday afternoon at the finish line. I checked all the final runners as they finished this 188 mile race. THAT was a really good time, I must admit as some of the HOT guys finished I did have to good game them :o) The best part about this whole time was being at the finishing line when Mandy came running in. I was so proud of her for doing this race and for finishing it. 13 miles is not an easy thing to do. Heck I can barely do 13 feet let alone miles. I was so glad to have her here in Utah not only to be there when I gave my first GD lesson but to be here with me over fathers day. I am not sure she will ever know how much that meant to me. Fathers day and Mothers day are very hard for me to get through but having her here helped me keep my life together. Thank you thank you thank you Mandy. Though we did not celebrate this day I did recognize the memory of my dad. I spent the day with my favorite person watching my new favorite movie "He's Just NOT That Into YOU!!" I think all single women should see this and read the book.

As for the latest news I have switched Condos I am now living with 2 new roommates who are incredible. These girls are soooo sweet and one shares my birthday with me!! Well that's all that's been happening in my life so far. Oh one more thing... I have a date here in a couple weeks with a really darling guy in my new ward!!

New Adventures!!

Well this is my first post so wish me luck.

The last few months have brought new adventures in my life. My fifth yes I said fifth car was purchased which I am still learning to like. I moved from West Valley, Utah back to Holladay, Utah. I am living in a nice condo with some roommates. I also took another step and left my beloved singles ward for a new one. It is a change that needed to happen and after much fasting and praying I know it was the right choice. In the mist of this I was called to work in the Salt Lake Temple! I am happily working in the Youth Center every Saturday morning ( it is were we watch the children while their parents are getting ready for the sealing). This past Sunday I was called and sustained as a new Gospel Doctrines teacher (proof the Lord has a sense of humor). Some have told me this is a very fun calling but I think I am being punished for not studying or attending Sunday school regularly. *note... Go to class to avoid this calling :o) ha ha To be completely honest I am SCARED out of my wits with this. When the first counselor of my Bishopric told me they would like to call me as a teacher I ever so nicely asked him "if he would like to go back and get on his knees and ask the Lord again because I was pretty sure a mistake had been made". He politely replied that "he in fact knew it was not a mistake and the bishop felt very strong about this call". So being taught by my parents that you NEVER turn down a calling I accepted it. I have always been an activities, service or friendshipping committee kinda gal, so this will totally be a new ballgame for me!! I ask for your prayers in this New Adventure. Much love
